The "Animal migration" in Mogadishu, the livestock trading markets

When you see a lot of goats, sheep, camel and cows were led by the shepherds in the livestock markets, please do not think that it is an accident. The shepherds are trying to sell their livestock everyday. For centuries, Somalis has adopted the nomadic shepherds as a way of life.

But with the geographic location, there is a constant drought forcing the shepherds to move across the grounds.

According the the Central Bank of Somalia, there are 80% of her population living in a half-herding-half-agricultural lives. They would exports the livestocks to mostly Arabic countries. It has been one of the main revenue sources for Somalia for years.
If you would like to see the Animal migration , you can come to Mogadishu, instead of Kenya. The only difference is , they would never come back again.
